Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kebijakan pengelolaan sampah di Kecamatan Indralaya Utara Kabupaten Ogan Ilir. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, yang kemudian dikaji menggunakan model evaluasi kebijakan dari William Dunn melalui enam indikator yaitu: efektifitas, efisiensi, kecukupan, perataan, responsivitas, dan ketepatan sebagai acuan dalam penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan kebijakan pengelolaan sampah belum dilakukan secara optimal. Hal tersebut dapat terlihat dari masih terdapat kendala-kendala di lapangan dimana masih banyak sampah yang tidak dikelola dengan baik tetapi hanya diangkut ke TPA serta tidak adanya teknologi pengelolaan sampah yang memadai. Dalam hal ini ada beberapa saran yang direkomendasikan yaitu hendaknya Dinas Lingkungan Hidup mensosialiasikan pengelolaan  sampah kepada masyarakat diberbagai tempat tidak hanya sekaligus diiringi dengan sarana dan prasarana pengelolaan sampah berbasis teknologi. Kata Kunci: Evaluasi, Kebijakan, Pengelolaan Sampah This study aims to evaluate waste management policies in North Indralaya District, Ogan Ilir Regency. This research uses a qualitative approach with a data collection method using interviews, which is then studied using a policy evaluation model from William Dunn through six indicators, namely: effectiveness, efficiency, adequacy, flattening, responsiveness, and accuracy as a reference in research. The results showed that the implementation of waste management policies has not been carried out optimally. This can be seen from the obstacles in the field where there is still a lot of waste that is not managed properly but only transported to landfill and the absence of adequate waste management technology. In this case, there are several recommended suggestions, namely that the Environmental Agency should socialize waste management to the community in various places, not only at the same time accompanied by technology-based waste management facilities and infrastructure.
