Abstract

The aim of this research was to find out of dosage and of complex application fertilizer that give the best growth of Oil Palm (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) at the main nursery. The research was conducted at Oil Palm Nursery of PT. Roesli Taher, Tanjung Raja, Ogan Ilir, from July lintil November 2004. Randomized Complete Design with two factors was used in this exsperiment. The first factor was the dosage of the complex fertilizer Plantta plus (N, P, K, Ca, Mg, S, TE) three levels of treatments, the second factor was the application which were three levels time treatments. The dosage of fertilizertion was consisted of 20 g per plant, 50 g per plant and 80 g per plant. The application fertilizatiom was consisted of once treatment application, twice treatment application and three time fertilization was application. The best result of the Oil Palm growth influenced was on 20 g per plant with twice application significantly on leaf number, leaf area, stem diameter and heigt of plant. The complex fertilizer dosage 20 g per plant significantly on leaf number, leaf area, stem diameter and height of plant. The applicatiom treatment with twice application significantly on leaf area and significant on leaf number, but did not significant on stem diameter and height of plant.
