Abstract
The objectif of this research was to find out the optimum dosage of bokashi and liquid fertilizer on the growth and production of pak choy. The research conducted at research station of Faculty of Agriculture Sriwijaya University, in Indralaya Ogan Ilir South Sumatra, from June 2005 until July 2005. Research was arranged in a Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with two factors and replicated three times. The first factor was the dosage of was I bokashi (B) they were Bo (0 ton per hectare), Bi (5 ton per hectare), B2 (10 ton per hectare), and B3 (15 ton per hectare). The second factor was the concentration of liquid fertilizer (P) there were Po (0 ppm), Pi (1000 ppm), P2 (2000 ppm), and P3 (3000 ppm). Parameters observed in this research were plant height, the number of leaves, total of leaf area, chlorophyll content, root weight, plant fresh weight, and plant dry weight. The result showed that the influence of the dosage of bokashi were highly signicant on root weight, significantly on plant fresh weight and plant dry weight, but no significant influence on plant height, number of leaves, total of leaf area and chlorophyll content. The influence of liquid fertilizer concentration were highly significant on plant height, number of leaves, total of leaf area, plant fresh weight, 1 plant dry weight, and significantly on root weight and chlorophyll content. Interactions dosage of bokashi and the concentration of Iiquid fertilizer on all parameters observed were not significant. The highest production of pak choy was given by 10 ton per hectare bokashi and 2000 ppm Iiquid fertilizer.
