Abstract

The objective of this research was to find out the effect of height waterlogging and manure composition medium on growth of Jelutung seedling. The research was conducted in Gasing Village, Talang Kelapa Subdistrict Banyu Asin Regency, from July 2005 to December 2005. The research used Split Plot Design with two factor treatments and three replications. The main plot was waterlogging which consisted of nothing waterlogging (GO), with the waterlogging in the height: 30 % at the bottom of polybag (Gl) and 60 % at the bottom of polybag (G2). The subplot was manure composition medium which were consisted no manure (P0), 10 % manure (Pl), 20 % manure (P2), 30 % manure (P3) and 40 % manure (P4). The result of the experiment showed that waterlogging and manure composition medium significant affect to the survival percentage, height plant, and the sum leaf plant. Waterlogging height from the bottom of polybag at 30 % and given manure at 10 % from the medium the best combination on the Jelutung seedling growth. The raised till 20 % of manure composition medium decreased to the growth of Jelutung seedling.
