Abstract

The objective of the study was to determine the best dosage at chicken manure and dolomite to support the growth and yield of Var. Srikandi maize. This research was conducted from April 2006 to June 2006 in farm of Agro Techno Park (ATP) at Bakung Village, Indralaya. The Randomized Block Design in Factorial design consist of two factors and three replicates was used in this research. The first factor (K) consisted of three levels of chicken manure, these are 1 ton per ha (Kl), 3 ton per ha (K2), 5 ton per ha (K3). And the second factor was dolomite (D) with three levels, these are 1 ton per ha (DI), 2 ton per ha (D2), 3 ton per ha (D3). The result showed that the combination of chicken manure and dolomite not significant to growth and yield of Var. Srikandi maize. The combination of chicken manure and dolomite 1 ton per ha (Kl) and 3 ton per ha (D3) gave the highest yield.
