Abstract
Websites are a communication medium that has the ability to disseminate information widely and quickly. The convenience possessed by websites makes this media often used by individuals, groups, and also government agencies. One of the government agencies that utilizes the website is the Lubuklinggau City Investment and One-Stop Integrated Service Office (DPMPTSP). This study aims to determine the communication strategy carried out by the DPMPTSP of Lubuklinggau City in an effort to increase the use of the website. In this study, researchers used the theory of communication strategy according to Cutlip and Center to find out the strategies implemented by DPMPTSP Lubuklinggau City so that people know about the use of the website. This research uses qualitative methods and data collection through interviews, observations, and document studies. The results of this study indicate that the communication strategy carried out by the DPMPTSP of Lubuklinggau City has succeeded in increasing the use of the website by the community. Therefore, the DPMPTSP of Lubuklinggau City must utilize mass media more often and also conduct socialization to disseminate information related to the website so that users of the Lubuklinggau City DPMPTSP website can increase.
