Abstract

Penelitian dengan judul Dampak Fatherless Pada Remaja di Kelurahan 22 Ilir Kecamatan Bukit Kecil Kota Palembang bertujuan untuk mengetahui latar belakang kondisi keluarga dari remaja yang mengalami fatherless dan dampak positif dan negatif dari fenomena fatherless yang dialami remaja serta bentuk bentuk fatherless yang dialami oleh remaja di Kelurahan 22 Ilir. Metode penelitian menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif dengan strategi penelitian fenomenologi. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori struktural fungsional oleh Robert K. Merton. Data diperoleh melalui proses observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi yang kemudian dianalisis menggunakan metode Milles dan Hubermen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat beberapa latar belakang kondisi keluarga yang dialami oleh remaja yaitu (1) keluarga yang masih memiliki ayah tetapi tidak berperan, (2) keluarga yang sudah tidak memiliki ayah di dalam keluarga atau dalam kondisi meninggal dunia dan perceraian keluarga, Adapun dampak yang dialami oleh remaja fatherless yaitu berupa dampak positif dan negatif. Yaitu dampak positif berupa (1) mandiri (2) berani mengambil keputusan (3) hubungan baik dengan keluarga. Dampak negative yaitu (1) perilaku menyimpang (2) emosi tidak stabil. Serta bentuk bentuk fatherless yang dialami berupa: hubungan waktu dengan ayah serta dukungan emosional. The research entitled The Impact of Fatherlessness on Adolescents in Subdistrict 22 Ilir, Bukit Kecil District, Palembang City aims to determine the background of the family conditions of adolescents who experience fatherlessness and the positive and negative impacts of the fatherless phenomenon experienced by adolescents as well as the forms of fatherlessness experienced by adolescents in Subdistrict 22 Ilir. The research method uses descriptive qualitative with a phenomenological research strategy. This research uses functional structural theory by Robert K. Merton. Data was obtained through a process of observation, interviews and documentation which was then analyzed using the Milles and Hubermen method. The results of the research show that there are several background family conditions experienced by teenagers, namely (1) families who still have a father but do not play a role, (2) families who no longer have a father in the family or are in the condition of death and family divorce. experienced by fatherless teenagers, namely in the form of positive and negative impacts. Namely positive impacts in the form of (1) independence (2) courage to make decisions (3) good relationships with family. The negative impacts are (1) deviant behavior (2) unstable emotions. As well as the forms of fatherlessness experienced in the form of: time relationship with father and emotional support.
