Abstract
The experiment was conducted to find out whether or not there were any significant influences of liquid organic fertilizer use from parrot dirt to castor plant growth and production. The experiment was conducted in January 2007 up to July 2007 in Balai Agro Teknologi Terpadu Desa Bakung Kecamatan Inderalaya Utara Kabupaten Ogan Ilir South Sumatera. The experiment was held by using randomized block design, consisted of six treatments, by four block, and each treatment units consisted of three crop, by using six fertilizer dose level those were without fertilizer (Po), 5 liters fertilizer per crop (Pi), 10 liters fertilizer per crop (P2), 15 liters fertilizer per crop (P3), 20 liters fertilizer per crop (P4), 25 liters fertilizer per crop (P5). Observable changes covered, time flowered, time harvested, amount of cropping seeds, and cropping seed weight. The result of the experiment indicated that liquid organic fertilizer use from parrot dirt to castor plant had significance to accretion of plant height, accretion of stalk diameter, accretion of primaries branches, time flowered, time harvested, cropping crop seeds, and cropping crop seed weight. The liquid organic fertilizer use from parrot dirt with dose 25 liters per crop was the best applicable fertilizer dose giving the highest result to accretion of amount of plant height, primaries branches, and weight of seeds per crop, compared to other fertilizers doses.
