Abstract

Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI) sebagai salah satu universitas yang terletak di Sumatera Selatan, tepatnya di kota Palembang dan Inderalaya telah menyediakan fasilitas bagi para mahasiswa untuk mendukung perkembangan diri mahasiswa khususnya yang tergabung dalam kegiatan non akademik. Saat ini, UNSRI telah memiliki sebuah student center yang memiliki fungsi untuk memfasilitasi kegiatan yang diadakan oleh organisasi-organisasi serta unit kegiatan mahasiswa pada tingkat fakultas. Fasilitas lain tersebut berupa ruang latihan, ruang baca, ruang rapat, dan area pengerjaan tugas yang seharusnya dapat dimanfaatkan oleh mahasiswa UNSRI. Oleh karena itu, penulis membuat skripsi berjudul 'Perancangan Student Center Universitas Sriwijaya Kampus Inderalaya' dengan dua tujuan. Pertama, untuk merancang Student Center Universitas Sriwijaya yang dapat memfasilitasi serta mendukung kegiatan pengembangan minat dan bakat serta kegiatan akademik mahasiswa Unversitas Sriwijaya. Kedua, merancang Student Center Universitas Sriwijaya dengan penataan sirkulasi dalam bangunan dan bukaan yang menggunakan pendekatan Open Space Architecture.
