Abstract

This report addresses the issue of cancer health in Indonesia, particularly breast cancer, with a focus on early detection in South Sumatra. The importance of the Cancer Research Center in Palembang City as a solution to the lack of adequate research facilities is emphasized. This study highlights the sustainable energy design of the Cancer Research Center, integrating the concept of biophilic design. This design solution not only supports energy conservation but also promotes human well-being and sustainable relationships with nature. The final product is a three-story Cancer Research Center building that applies energy conservation principles and biophilic design concepts to its spatial program, building appearance, and utilities.
