Abstract
The research was intended to know the growth and yield of Indian Pennyworth (Centellci asiaticci L. Urban) at dose and different kinds of NPK fertilizer. The research was done in experiment garden of Agriculture Faculty, Sriwijaya University, Indralaya which started frora April up to July 2009. The experimental design that was used in this research was Randomized Completely Block Design with seven treatments and four replications, so there were 28 treatments. Every treatment consisted of 25 plants, so there were 700 plants. The treatments were : Po = without fertilizer, Pi = NPK I (16-16-16) 0,043 kg per m2, P2 = NPK I (16-16-16) 0,030 kg per m2, P3 = NPK I (16-16-16) 0,055 kg per m2, P4 = NPK II (15-15-15) 0,043 kg per m2, P5 = NPK II (15-15-15) 0,03 kg per m2, P6 = NPK II (15-15-15) 0,055 kg per m2. The seedling of Indian Pennyworth were used in this research was off spring that had two leaves. The yield of the research showed that different treatment of doses and different kinds of fertilizer not significant to the growth and yield of Indian Pennyworth. The NPK II was higher than NPK I for all parameters. P4= NPK II (15- 15-15) 0,043 kg per m2 treatment was the highest for sum of leaves, sum of stolon, width of leaves, and dry weight. P5 = NPK II (15-15-15) 0,030 kg per m2 treatment gave the highest yield for chlorofil content and fresh weight. The highest fresh vveight of Indian Pennyworth vvas 13,25 ton per ha in the P5 treatment vvith NPK II (15-15-15) 0,030 kg per m2, and the highest dry weight of Indian Pennyworth 2,34 ton per ha in the P4 treatment with NPK II (15-15-15) 0,043 kg per m2.
