Abstract
The research was intended to know the effect of lamtoro bokashi fertilizer to the growth and yield of kailan. This research was done in Research Garden of Agricultural Faculty Sriwijaya University, Indralaya, from July to September 2009. The method that used in this research was Completely Randomized Design with six treatments, every treatment was replicated four times so there were 24 units of treatments, each treatment unit consisted of 4 plants so there were 96 plants. The treatments in this research were Pj = 100 g bokashi per plant, P2 = 150 g bokashi per plant, P3 = 200 g bokashi per plant, P4 = 250 g bokashi per plant, and P5 = 300 g bokashi per plant. The result of this research showed that lamtoro bokashi treatment with 250 g bokashi per plant significantly affected leaf number and chlorophyl contents. The treatment of P3 (200 g per plant) gave the highest for parameter of shoot fresh weight and leaf area of kailan plant, however not significant. The treatment of P5 (300 g per plant) was the treatment with the lowest leaf chlorophyl content.
