Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of a complete ration based on local raw material fermentation of dry matter, organic materials, and materials without nitrogen extract digestibilityin ducks. This research was conducted over two monthsin the experimental cage of Animal of Science Department, FacultyAgriculture, University of Sriwijaya. The research designed was Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of five treatments with four replications. This treatment is the administration of local raw materials fermentai R0 (100% diets control), R1 (75% diets Control: 25% ration fermentation), R2 (50% diets Control: 50% ration fermentation), R3 (25% dietscontrol: 75 % ration fermentation), R4 (100% ration fermentation). Parameters measured were dry matter digestibility, organic matter digestibility, and extract materials without nitrogen digestibility. The results showed that the use of local raw materials of fermentation had no effect on digestibility of dry matter, organic matter digestibility and extract materials without nitrogen. Average digestibility in ducks each treatment was 64.34-76.08% dry matter digestibility, organic matter digestibility 59.93-73.64%, and extract materials without nitrogen 69.62-80.27%.
