Abstract
The objective of this study was to know raising method of rice seedling tenacy after be submergence use the repair of fertilizing system and varieties until appropriate vvith swamp condition. The experiment was conducted from June to September 2011. The method used in the experiment was randomized block designed arranged factorially 8x6. Each treatment was replicated three times. The research factor consisted of rice varieties and fertilizing methods. The rice varieties consisted of VI (Inpara 3), V2 (Inpara 4), V3 (Inpara 5), V4 (IR 42), V5 (BR 11 sub-1), V6 (Rutti), V7 (Uffa), V8 (Serendah Kuning). Fertilizing methods consisted of P1 (without submergence + NPK), P2 (NPK, N application seven days before submergence), P3 (NPK, N application one day after submergence), P4 ( NPK + manure, N aplication seven days before submergence), P5 (NPK + Zn + Si + manure, N aplication seven days before submergence), P6 ( NPK + Zn + Si + manure, N application one day after submergence). The result of the experiment showed that an additional Zn + Si increasing tenacy of seedling in submergence. The seedling tenacy to submergence in water can be rise with arrangement application of nitrogen fertilizer. The nitrogen fertilizing after submergence treatment can increase the tolerance seedling. The rice variety which contain sub-1 gen indicated seedling is the better for resistency to submergence at cultivation of nursery phase compare with national superior variety and Iocal variety which have not sub-I gen.
