Abstract
This research is a development research that aims to produce Basic Chemistry of Gas teaching materials based on the STEM Problem Based Learning based on Amy Abbot 's valid and practical procedures for chemistry education students. The development model used is the ADDIE development model combining with Tessmer formative evaluation. The steps of the ADDIE development model that are carried out consist of analysis, design, and development. The evaluation Tessmer's formative carried out in this study consisted of the expert review, one-to-one and small group. The results at the expert review for material validation obtained a score of 1,00 in the high category, design validation obtained a score of 1,00 in the high category and pedagogic validation obtained a score of 0.96 in the high category. The results of the practicality test using qualitative data from the walkthrough and the average practicality in the one to one obtained a score of 0,91 with a very high category as well as the small group a score 0,92 category high. Based on the results of the evaluation, it shows that the basic chemistry of gas teaching materials based on STEM Problem Based Learning have met the valid and practical criteria.
