Abstract
This research is development research which aims to produce a product in the form of basic chemistry teaching materials for metal chemistry based on STEM Problem Based Learning for students of the Chemistry Education Study Program that meets valid and practical criteria. The development research model used is the ADDIE model combined with tessmer formative evaluation. The stages of the ADDIE model carried out are analysis, design and development. The stages of tessmer formative evaluation carried out are self evaluation, one to one, expert review and small group. The results at the expert review stage which were analyzed using the V Aiken formula obtained a design validation value of 0.950 in the high category, a pedagogical validation value of 0.955 in the high category, a material validation value of 0.968 in the high category. The results of the practicality test using qualitative data from the walkthrough and the average practicality analyzed using the practicality technique formula at the one to one stage obtained a value of 96.032% in the very practical category, and at the small group stage a value of 96.164% was obtained in the very practical category. Based on these results, it shows that the basic chemistry teaching materials for metal chemistry based on STEM Problem Based Learning are declared valid and practical.
