Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of life expectancy, population growth, renewable energy consumption, and carbondioxide emissions (CO2) on government spending on health in ASEAN. The data used in research in this study is panel data consisting of cross-section and time series data. The cross-section data in this study consists of 10 countries in ASEAN and the time series data in this study spans 2001-2020. The analysis technique used is panel data regression with Fixed Effect Model estimation. The research results found that life expectancy and carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) have a negative effect on government spending on health in ASEAN. Meanwhile, population growth and renewable energy consumption have a positive influence on government spending on health in ASEAN.
