Abstract

Konflik sosial adalah proses di mana individu atau kelompok berusaha memenuhi tujuannya dengan menetang pihak lawan. Di Desa Kijang Ulu, Kecamatan Kayu Agung, Kabupaten Ogan Komering Ilir terdapat potensi konflik sosial masyarakat pasca pilkades yang disebabkan oleh berbagai faktor . Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif merupakan metode untuk mengeksplor suatu fenomena, masalah sosial, atau kemanusiaan berdasar argumen dari para partisipan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa potensi konflik sosial pasca pilkades di Desa Kijang Ulu merupakan konflik berkelanjutan yang disebabkan dari adanya persaingan antar kelompok dalam masyarakat yang bersaingan memperebutkan sumber daya dan kekuasaan dan adanya ketidakpuasan, perasaan tidak adil, atau perbedaan kepentingan antar kelompok.
