Abstract

Toxic relationship is a relationship that triggers emotion and of course in carrying out this relationship the partner does not feel comfortable when carrying it out. The am of this research is to find out interpersonal communication in managing a relationship that still leaves scars or trauma in toxic relationship. The data obtained is the result of in-depth interviews, observations and documentation studies using qualitative research methods. this research uses relation dialectics theory which has strategies for overcoming tensions in couple life, namely cycle change, segmentation, selection and integration. The results of this research, the informants have succeeded in implementing these strategies so that Toxic Relationships do not recur, proven by harmony in establishing new relationships, this is based on the results of analysis, observations and information obtained by researchers.
