Abstract
The totcil h i p joint replacement i n medically surgeon process i s one of very ejfective Solutions when the hip joint (hip hone) in our body gets a fatal fail u re which i s caused by one of diseases or get/ing such serious accident in the same time. Bu t in fact, unfortunately artificial hip Joint also has a potential failure because it gives a massive force in its working process, therefore needed a further sfudy specifically t o “the Ouality of that artificial hip joint ” using a specific Software t o get an exact and detail r e suit. Therefore, this research functions to know where the doom area and safety factor stand in the artificial hip joint in the same time to minimize a probable failure happened there. Using the Software, the f mite element method functions to make a model of artificial hip joint thru making an assumption for the maximum load happened when men do variant movements like walking, running, stepping up and stepping down the stairs when their hip joint get the maximum load\ caused our body weight merely was supported by single leg (single legged stance). Based on those recisons above and supported by worth study, the criticaI area edges o n the inlay layer, specifically in node -5477 with Von Misses and Tresca mcocimum stress reaching about 13,321 Mpa and 14,17 Mpa. According to that calculation, the artificial hip joint will be categorized in to the safe, because of complying the recpiirement technically in the time i t is not rim over the yield stress of its material composers.
