Abstract
Palembang is a lowland area with special characteristics, rivers and swamps. The Development planning around the Coastal area of Musi river should consider the water intrusion aspects. One of Geophysics methods that is enable to apply in environment study is Geo-electric method. This method uses resistance distribution to know the geologic structure underland. In this research, geo-electric method that is used, is 2 dimensions with Wenner configuration and located under Ampera bridge, 16 Ilir Palembang. The result taken is informed in the following : Under first line, that is visible water intrusion get in about 2-5,9 metres deep and located at about 90 metres long from zero point of the line, that intrusion indicated from resistance value abaout 15,1 - 26,9 ftm. Then under line 2 and line 3, there is no water intrusion where the lithology of its rock structure is sandy clay or flake clay.
