Abstract

This study is a descriptive research with a qualitative approach that aims to determine the higher order thinking skill of students in problem based learning of circle material. The subjects are students of class VIII.1 junior high school number 1 Indralaya Utara, announting to 28 students. The learning process took place in accordance with the steps of Problem Based Learning. The data were collected using test and interview and analyzed descriptively. The result shows that in general the higher order thinking skill of students after problem-based learning is implemented is still dominated by analyzing indicators. While the indicators for evaluating and creating are still relatively low, only seen in some students.
