Abstract

The research entitled “Narcotic Users and Illegal Drugs at the Age of Teenagers in Air Hitam Penukal Village, Pali Regency”. This research has been done due to appoint and to know what the backgrond or caused the teenagers to be a narcotic addict and illegal drugs user in Air Hitam Village. The study aims to giving new knowledge, to giving description factors, and to show cause why teenagers consumed and to be narcotic addict. As for concept in this research used social contol theory. This study used descriptive qualitative methods of analiysis, with phenomenology strategy . This study aims to describe a lot of situasion and condition about social reality in society and an object of this research. Informant in this study has also purposive and informant who is implicated in this research. Collecting data in this study condused by interviews, observation, documentation, and validity of data using data Triangulation Techinique. Techinique in data analysis is the technique of Burhan Bungin with 4 stages namely: data collection, data reduction, data presentesion, and conclusion. The results showed the factors why teenagers consumed then to be narcotic user and illegal drugs in Air Hitam Village. Internal factors and external factors such as invite or stimulus by friends, attempt repeatedly or to try something new, frustration, caused broken heart, situation surrounding factor, drugs it was easy to find for consumed and then development population at the age of teenagers is grow up. The drugs usually consumed by teenager in Air Hitam Village like ecstasy and crystal meth. The teenagers as narcotic addict and illegal drug user caused they has desire and to changed life reality and to changed their personality.
