Abstract

In today's era, electricity has become a primary necessity. However, reliance on fossil energy sources has led to their depletion. A promising solution is to utilize renewable energy, such as solar energy. This research aims to design and construct a Photovoltaic Solar Power Generator (PVSPG) prototype with a 10 WP polycrystalline solar panel. The study compares three types of reflektors: flat mirror, concave mirror, and a combination of both, in enhancing the output power of solar panels. The PVSPG prototype is designed with solar panels equipped with reflektors on all four sides, positioned 50 cm above the ground surface, with a panel angle of 0° and a reflektor angle of 65°. The research findings indicate that solar panels with concave mirror reflektors produce the highest output power, with a value of 19.551 W. Panels with combination reflektors produce an output power of 19.1982 W, while those with flat mirror reflektors produce an output power of 18.7986 W. The concave mirror can focus received light, resulting in higher light intensity compared to flat mirrors.
