Abstract

This research entitled "The Relationship between Corn Farmers and Land Owners in Kemelak Bindung Langit Village, East Baturaja District, Ogan Komering Ulu District". The purpose of this study is to determine the Work Relationship of Corn Farmers with Land Owners in the Kelurahan of Kemelak Bindung Langit, East Baturaja District. The research method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative research method that develops descriptive data on the working relationship of corn farmers with landowners. In this study the research informants were selected purposively, a technique that aims to take informants from people who are really involved with the problem under study. Types and sources of data obtained through primary data and secondary data with data collection techniques such as observation, interviews and documentation. The data collected was then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman plots which consist of data reduction, presentation and conclusions. The results of this study show that the working relationships and landowners here are hard, because by working, they can make ends meet and the hardships that force them to work hard, the demand to improve their quality of life requires them to work harder, always respecting nature and preserving environment, good relations between farmers for smooth work, there is competition among fellow corn farmers which makes them work harder and by increasing the area of ​​land will increase the income of corn farmers in the Kemelak Bindung Langit Village, East Baturaja District.
