Abstract

This research aims to prove that there is role for learning guidance in improving students math learning outcomes at BT 70 Indralaya branch, Ogan Iir district. This study is a descriptive quantitative research. The population in this study is 30 students who are following math learning guidance ot BTA 70 Indralaya branch, and the sample consists of 28 students who meet the research criteria and are octive students. The sampling technique used is total sampling. The data collection techniques used include questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The statistical analysis used to test the hypothesis is a singie-sample t-test, where thitung> ttabel, which is 10.64> 2.052, which means that the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. This indicates that there is a role for guidance in improving students" math learning outcomes. Meanwhile, the survey results show a percentage of 94.08% with a very high category. Additionally, the learning outcomes of studens report cards, which ranged from 0 to 16 points, all expcrienced an increase after following the guidance learning process. Therefore, it can be concluded that through the guidance learning process, guidance has a role in improving students' math learning outcomes at BTA 70 Indralaya branch, Ogan Ilir district. The guidance learning institution is expected to Improve its services, particularly in learning methods, to address students difficulties in learning Keywords: Learning Guidance Role, Learning Outcomes, Mathematics.
