Abstract
Shaking tabel is a mineral processing tool used for separating minerals based on the weight of the type of mineral. Many factors influence the performance of the shaking tabel including the length of the punch and the slope of the deck. Experiment with setting the tool on shaking tabel with variable punch length of 22 mm; 24 mm; 26 mm; 28 mm; 30 mm and for variable slope deck as follows 0o; 0,3o; 0,6o; 0,9o; 1.2o. The longer the blow on the shaking tabel the higher the level produced, while the recovery obtained will be lower. The higher the slope of the deck on the shaking tabel the higher the yield level, but the lower recovery will be obtained. Tin which obtained from mining needs to be processed to achieve Sn> 70% as a fusion criteria. To produce the highest Sn content occurred at deck slope of 1.2o and at a punch length of 30 mm which resulted in Sn content of 72.795%. The highest recovery results occurred at deck slope of 0o and the blow length of 26 mm which resulted in recovery of 79.3386%. In the experiment that produced the most Sn and Sn recovery levels occurred when the punch length was 30 mm and the deck slope was 0.3o, which the resulting content was 56.058% and the resulting recovery was 43.925%.
