Abstract

Penelitian yang dilakukan adalah Representasi Maskulinitas Perempuan dalam film bergenre Superhero yang berjudul Sri Asih, merupakan suatu film yang mengangkat kisah tentang seorang perempuan yang memiliki kekuatan super untuk membasmi kejahatan dan membela kaum yang lemah dan tidak berdaya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Representasi Maskulinitas Perenspuan dalam Film Sri Asih (2022) yang disutradarai oleh Upi Avianto. Data diperoleh dari potongan gambar scene film dan dokumentasi dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan analisis Semiotika Roland Barthes yang memiliki tiga pilar makna tandanya yaitu denotasi, konotasi dan mitos. Hasil pembahasan penelitian ditemukan denotasi, kupotasi, dan mitos yang mengandung unsur maskulinitas menurut Peter Lehman yang terdin dari kekuasaan, keberanian, kepahlawanan, dan kepemimpinan yang ditumpilkan oleh Sri saib (Alana). Berdasarkan kesimpulan yang peneliti temukan, bahwa penting untuk menyadari bahwa muskulinitas tidak terbatas pada laki-laki saja, tidak hanya ditunjukkan oleh laki-laki. Laki-laki dan perempuan sama-sama mempunyai hak untuk memiliki sifat markulin
