Abstract

Masalah yang diangkat dalam penelitian ini yaitu bentuk dan strategi pemasaran dalam pengolahan buah kelapa sawit menjadi dodol di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Nasional (SMKN) di Kecamatan Keluang, Kabupaten Musi Banyuasin, Sumatera Selatan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan strategi penelitian studi kasus. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori inovasi sosial Evert Rongers. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi dari 2 orang informan kunci, 10 orang informan utama dan 3 orang informan pendukung. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah bentuk inovasi sosial yang dilakukan oleh siswa SMK yaitu adalah membuat olahan kelapa sawit menjadi dodol dengan meliputi inovasi sosial dalam permasalahan sosial, menciptakan hubungan kelembagaan yang baru (kolaborasi), meningkatkan kapasitas dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan dengan adanya itu siswa berhasil mengolah strategi pemasaran produk melalui berbagai aplikasi seperti whatsapp, facebook serta instragram.
