Abstract
Coffee is one of the superior plants whose real contribution to the national economy is as a source of income for farmers, a provider of industrial raw materials, a provider of job creation, and also a source of foreign exchange for the country. Even though coffee is not native to Indonesia, until now coffee has been widely cultivated on the island of Sumatra and several islands in Indonesia. In order to achieve the objectives of this research, the author used several types of methods, starting from literature study to data analysis to drawing conclusions. The IoT-based coffee drying design using a rain sensor, LDR sensor, light sensor and DHT 11 temperature sensor has been realized, so it is necessary to carry out various tests to find out how the device works, as well as tests to find out how the device works, and based on the condition of the rain sensor, LDR sensor, sensor and dht 11 temperature sensor, the rain sensor can detect the presence of water, the LDR sensor can detect the presence of light and the dht 11 sensor can detect the temperature of the coffee drying device. The ESP32 microcontroller which is used as the main controller can work in running programs and reading commands given. In making this tool it is only a prototype, the coffee drying tool prototype should use a rain sensor and an IoT-based LDR sensor. This can be made to actual size so that it can be applied to help relieve coffee farmer jobs. Keywords: Coffee, ESP-32, Internet Of Things
