Abstract
The growth of communication technology and changing trends in the use of social media have encouraged the Kupang City Communication and Information Office to adapt to fulfill government tasks and activities. This study aims to analyze the management of Instagram social media by the Education Quality Assurance Center of South Sumatra Province. The theory used is the 4C Social Media Management Theory by Chris Heuer, namely Context, Communication, Collaboration, Connection. The research method used is descriptive qualitative to explain descriptively. Instagram social media management of the Education Quality Assurance Center is considered to have gone well even though there are still advantages and disadvantages. Posts utilize appropriate captions, but the appearance is still fairly monotonous and needs to be more attractive. Communication is well managed with the community responding significantly to information shared through comments. Collaboration with other stakeholders in South Sumatra also works well, and people actively follow both accounts. The Connection dimension was improved with the addition of show reels, expanding the format from photos to videos. Social media management by the Education Quality Assurance Center of South Sumatra Province has been good, but needs further improvement given the changing dynamics of social media development.
