Abstract
Self-assertiveness is the expression of a positive attitude in a way that is assertive or honest and able to defend their personal rights without offending others. Students who are assertive are able to be confident, express their opinions and be honest. If students cannot be assertive, they tend to be harmed by their friends. Students who cannot be assertive cannot express their personal rights and always participate in group activities that can harm themselves. This study aims to develop a self-assertiveness measurement tool for students who experience social conformity problems. The research method used in this study is research development. The subjects in this study were 7 students at the pilot test stage and 31 students at the main test stage who were selected by purposive sampling with the criteria of experiencing social conformity problems from two schools, namely MAN 1 Banyuasin and SMKN 1 Banyuasin III. Based on the results of the study, there were 29 valid items out of 32 statement items tested. With a reliability level of 0.951 including a very high category and a practicality value at the main test stage of 91% including a very practical category. So that the web-based scale can be used as a tool to measure the self-assertiveness of students who experience social conformity problems. Keywords: Scale, Self-assertiveness, Social Conformity
