Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana konsep diri akademik pada siswa broken home di SMA Negeri 1 Lubai. Penelitian ini nerupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan menampilkan data dalam bentuk persentase angka. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI di SMA Negeri 1 Lubai yang berjumlah 157 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode purposive sampling dengan jenis pengambilan sampel atas dasar adanya tujuan tertentu da;am hal ini yaitu berdasarkan siswa broken home. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah skal konsep diri akademik. HIasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan konsep diri akademik siswa, diketahui tidak terdapat siswa dengan kategori rendah, terdapat 90% pada kategori sedang dan 10% pada kategori tinggi. Berdasarkan jenis kelamin konsep diri akademik siswa broken home, siswa yang berjenis kelamin laki-laki memiliki rata-rata sebesar 106 dengan jumlah 55 siswa, sedangkan siswa yang berjenis kelamin perempuan memiliki rata-rata sebesar 114 dengan jumlah 102 siswa. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa konsep diri akademik siswa broken home berdasarkan jenis kelamin perempuan yang lebih tinggi daripada laki-laki.
