Abstract

The Community Empowerment Program is a form of implementation of Law of the Republic of Indonesia no. 19 of 2003 concerning BUMN and BUMN Ministerial Regulation no. 4 of 2007. This program exists as an effort aimed at increasing the capacity of society and the environment as well as providing benefits to society and companies. Community Empowerment Programs must prepare appropriate communication strategies so that the communication process runs well. This research aims to find out how the Communication Strategy is used by the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Communication, Relations & CSR Division of PT Pertamina Refinery Unit III Plaju in the Kampung Pangan Inovatif Program. This research was carried out using directed interviews, observation and documentation studies and was prepared in the form of descriptive qualitative research conducted at Communication, Relations & CSR PT Pertamina Refinery Unit III Plaju. The research results prove that the implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) of PT Pertamina Refinery Unit III Plaju in the Kampung Pangan Inovatif Program has implemented five stages of CSR implementation according to Coombs & Holladay.
