Abstract

Pabrik Asam Formiat direncanakan berlokasi di daerah Samboja, Kalimantan Timur. Pabrik ini meliputi area seluas 5,5 Ha dengan kapasitas 64.000 ton per tahun. Proses pembuatan Asam Formiat dilakukan melalui proses Karbonilasi Metanol yang berlangsung di Reaktor (R-01) pada temperatur 80oC dan tekanan 2,1 atm sehingga dihasilkan produk antara berupa metil format. Metil format lalu akan melalui proses hidrolisis di dalam Reaktor (R-02) pada temperatur 91,35oC dan tekanan 1,78 atm hingga terbentuk produk utama berupa asam formiat yang nantinya akan dimurnikan menggunakan kolom distilasi hingga kemurniannya mencapai 99%. Pabrik ini merupakan perusahaan yang berbentuk Perseroan Terbatas (PT) dengan sistem organisasi line and staff , yang dipimpin oleh seorang direktur utama dengan jumlah karyawan 128 orang. Berdasarkan hasil analisa ekonomi, maka Pabrik Pembuatan Asam Formiat layak didirikan dengan hasil analisa ekonomi sebagai berikut: 1) Biaya Produksi (TPC) : US $ 169.656.187,73 2) Hasil Penjualan (SP) : US $ 280.140.104,30 3) Annual Cash Flow (ACF) : US $ 84.453.929,19 4) Pay Out Time (POT) : 1,18 Tahun 5) Rate of Return Investment (ROR) : 84 % 6) Discounted cash flow – ROR : 32 % 7) Break Even Point (BEP) : 33 % 8) Service Life : 11 Tahun
