Abstract

Indonesia is a country that has quite a large area of agricultural land and diverse and abundant natural resources, one of which is plantation products. Thus, there is a need to increase and empower plantation production in Indonesia itself. This research discusses a comparison of the representation of land area and plantation production in each province based on data from the Indonesian Directorate General of Plantation for 2018-2020. The variables used are the five highest plantation product yields, namely coffee, rubber, cocoa, coconut and palm oil with the land area of the five products. the plantation. This research uses biplot analysis to describe the results graphically and two group analysis to see the comparison of land area with agricultural production results in each consecutive year. Based on the biplot analysis, production is very highly correlated with the land area of each plantation product in Indonesia, which can be seen from the results of the biplot graph that the provincial coordinates and variable vectors that are formed are almost the same in each year. Meanwhile, the results of the analysis of two comparison groups between two variable subspaces from the 2018 data matrix with the 2019 data matrix and the 2019 data matrix with the 2020 data matrix, have similarities in the production and land area of each plantation product, which can be seen from the perspective of -the comparative dimension angle formed is very small.
