Abstract
The aim of this study was to observed the growth response of Duku seedlings on different media growth compositions. The experiment was conducted in November 2007 through May 2008 at field experiment of Agriculture Faculty, The experiment design being used was Randomized Completely Block Design which consisted of ten treatments and three replications. They are approximately 30 unit experiments, each unit Sriwijaya University, Indralaya. consisted of five plant samples. Number of samples for the whole unit were 150 plants. The treatments were as follow: soil (Mo), soil + bokashi (Mi), soil + rice husk + bokashi (M2), soil + rice husk + mycorrhiza (M3), soil + sawdust + bokashi (M*), soil + sawdust + mycorrhiza (M5), sand + manure + rice husk (M^), sand + > manure + rice husk + mycorrhiza (M?), sand + manure + sawdust (Mg), and sand + manure + sawdust + mycorrhiza (M9). The experiment results showed that the media growth compositions gave significant effect on the growth of Duku seedlings. Media compositions of sand + manure + rice husk + mycorrhiza (M7) gave better effect on height of seedlings, leaves number, and stem diameter.
