Abstract

The aim of this research is to know the dosage of eichomia crassipes bokashi that give an optimum effect for the growth of oil palm (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) seedling in the main nursery. This research was conducted from May until October 2007, at Inderalaya. Experimental method of this research is the with Randomized Completely Block Design Method by six treatments four replications, the total are 24 units of treatments with three seedling of each treatment. Therefore there were 72 plants. The treatments of B0= Control (without bokashi), Bl= 1450 g of eichomia crassipes, B2= 1700 g of eichomia crassipes, B3= 1950 g of eichomia crassipes, B4= 2200 g of eichomia crassipes, B5= 2450 g of eichomia crassipes. The result research showes that the dosage 1450 g of eichomia crassipes bokashi is the best treatment and the optimum dosage for the growth of oil palm.
