Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian korelasi antara tipe kepemimpinan guru biologi dengan disiplin belajar siswa SMA Negeri Kecamatan Kayuagung Ogan Komering Ilir. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh, angka korelasi antara tipe kepemimpinan guru biologi dengan disiplin belajar siswa, untuk tiap sekolah. Secara umum untuk tipe otoriter diperoleh data korelasi 0,003 lebih kecil daripada korelasi tabel untuk taraf signifikan 95% dan 99%, berarti arah korelasi positif dan korelasi tidak signifikan. Untuk tipe demokratis diperoleh korelasi data 0,201 lebih besar dari korelasi tabel pada taraf signifikan 95% dan 99%, berarti arah korelasi positif dan ada signifikan antara data tipe kepemimpinan guru dan disiplin belajar siswa dalam belajar biologi, dan untuk tipe kepemimpinan laisses faire diperoleh korelasi data -0,073 lebih kecil dari korelasi tabel untuk taraf signifikan 95% dan 99%, berarti arah korelasi negatif dan tidak signifikan. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa, secara umum terdapat korelasi positif yang sangat signifikan antara tipe kepemimpinan demokratis dengan disiplin belajar siswa dalam belajar biologi. Dengan kata lain semakin tinggi tipe demokratis guru biologi maka cendrung diikuti oleh semakin tinggi disiplin belajar siswa dalam belajar, hal ini dapat dilihat pada guru yang mengajar di SMA Negeri 2 Kayuagung dan SMA Negeri 4 Kayuagung.
