Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui struktur komunitas serangga pada perkebunan jeruk manis (Citrus sinensis L) yang telah dilakukan mulai dari bulan Oktober 2023-Juli 2024. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode purposive sampling, yaitu pengamatan dan pengambilan sampel yang sesuai secara langsung di lokasi penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam struktur komunitas serangga ditemukan 105 individu yang termasuk dalam 25 famili dan 37 jenis serangga. Komposisi serangga dikategorikan 4 yaitu, polinator, predator, dekomposer dan hama. Serangga yang paling banyak ditemukan ialah Musca domestica dengan jumlah 18 individu yang berperan sebagai serangga dekomposer. Nilai Indeks keanekaragaman serangga dikategorikan tinggi yaitu sebesar 5,51. Nilai Indeks kemerataan serangga dikategorikan tinggi yaitu sebesar 1,51. Nilai Indeks dominansi serangga dikategorikan sedang yaitu sebesar 0,63. Hasil penelitian ini akan diimplementasikan dalam bentuk Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) untuk pembelajaran Biologi SMA kelas X Kurikulum Merdeka pada Fase E tentang Keanekaragaman Hayati, Interaksi dan Peranannya di Alam. Kata Kunci: Struktur Komunitas Serangga, Purposive Sampling, Komposisi Serangga, Nilai Indeks. This study aims to determine the structure of insect communities in sweet orange plantations (Citrus sinensis L) which have been carried out from October 2023-July 2024. This research is a type of quantitative descriptive research. This research using the purposive sampling method, namely observation and sampling of appropriate samples directly at the research location. The results showed that in the structure of the insect community, 105 individuals were found, belonging to 25 families and 37 species of insects. The composition of insects is categorized into 4 categories, namely, polliners, predators, decomposers and pests. The most common insect found is Musca domestica with a total of 18 individuals who act as decomposer insects. The value of the Insect Diversity Index was categorized as high, which was 5.51. The value of the insect evenness index was categorized as high, which was 1.51. The value of the Insect Dominance Index was categorized as moderate, which was 0.63. The results of this research will be implemented in the form of Student Worksheets (LKPD) for Biology learning for high school class X Independent Curriculum in Phase E about Biodiversity, Interactions and Their Role in Nature.
