Abstract

Before opening a mine, it is necessary to carry out a mine feasibility study first, one of which is a geotechnical study by carrying out geotechnical drilling. However, the data on rock mechanical properties (cohesion and internal shear angles) obtained is not yet up to date due to core loss occurring at a certain depth, so it is necessary to interpret the results of the Geological Strength Index (GSI) field observation data as the main parameter to obtain data on the mechanical properties of each rock. depth and ensure the influence of GSI on the slope Safety Factor (FK) using the Morgenstern-Price method. The analysis results obtained from GSI will vary in cohesion values and internal shear angles which will influence the Safety Factor (FK) of the slope. The greater the GSI value, the greater the cohesion and internal shear angle so that the Safety Factor (FK) of the slope is more stable
