Abstract
Muara Kelingi sub-district was recorded as the sub-district with the highest cases of pulmonary TB after Megang Sakti and Terawas sub-districts. This study aims to analyze the determinants of the incidence of pulmonary TB disease in the community in the Muara Kelingi Puskesmas working area. This research is quantitative with a case control study design. Data were analyzed univariately, bivariately using the Chi-Square test, and multivariately using multiple logistic regression tests with predictive factor models. The population in this study were all people who lived / lived in the Muara Kelingi Health Center working area of Musi Rawas Regency in 2023. In this study, there were 40 people for the case group and 80 people for the control group. In this study, the variables that have significant differences are Floor Type, Natural Lighting, Temperature, Humidity and Residential Density with P-Value <0.001. The results showed that the humidity variable (p-value 0.038) was the most influential with an OR value of 40, meaning that unqualified humidity has a risk of causing someone to get Pulmonary TB by 40 times compared to places with qualified humidity. High humidity can increase the development of disease-causing bacteria. One of them is the bacterium Mycobakterium pulmonary TB.
