Abstract

Sistem perpipaan sebagai salah satu alat transportasi yang selalu terlibat dalam industri pembangkit listrik. Karena sistem pipa tersebut berada dalam kondisi tekanan dan temperatur yang tinggi maka perancangan konstruksi sistem pipa tersebut harus memenuhi kriteria - kriteria yang sesuai dengan standar yang telah ditentukan. Main Steam Pipe atau sistem pipa uap utama merupakan salah satu bagian utama dari unit sistem perpipaan di PLTGU Pura Daya Prima Musi II yang berfungsi untuk mengalirkan uap atau steam dari boiler ke turbin uap. Sistem pipa tersebut bekerja pada keadaan temperatur 450°C dan mempunyai tekanan yang berbeda yaitu sebesar 3,83 MPa untuk pipa diameter 108 mm dan sebesar 3,43 MPa untuk diameter 159 mm, sehingga pipa tersebut tergolong konstruksi pipa panas yang memerlukan ketahanan lebih terhadap deformasi dan ekspansi termal. Analisa tegangan pada sistem pipa ini menggunakan perangkat lunak yang menggunakan prinsip metode elemen hingga yaitu CosmosWork dan Caesar II V4.2.
