Abstract
The objective of research was to detect of Plutella xylostella (Linn.) to nimba Azadirachta indica A. Juss and botanical extract also Bacillus thuringiensis and Lamda Sihalotrin insecticide. The research had been conducted in the Laboratory of Entomology, Department of Plant and Disease, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University, Inderalaya, from March to August 2004. The research was arranged using Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with five treatment and six replications. The data which had been collected were analyzed using the analysis of variance continued by honest significant test. The parameter observed were namely mortality of larva, emerging pupae, emerging adult, the number of egg and mortality of adult. The result showed that the insecticide effected the mortality of larvae, emerging pupae, emerging adult, the number of egg and mortality of adult.
