Abstract

This research aims to assemble an induction motor into a generator to improve the Coefficient of Performance (COP). The research was conducted in the Electrical Engineering laboratory at Universitas Sriwijaya. The tools used include a direct current (DC) motor, tachometer,multimeter, and incandescent lamp. The results showed that increasing the load from 200 watts to 1000 watts caused the current generated to increase, while the voltage decreased. COP increased with the load increment. Future research should consider the temperature rise with each load increment and evaluate the tools to enhance performance.
