Abstract
The aim of the research was to know the influence of treatments (fertilizer, liquid latex, and tofu waste) by C. pyrenoidosa on maximum density, growth and specific growth rate of C. pyrenoidosa, yield of ammonia and carbondioxide, decreasing rate of ammonia and carbondioxide substrat, Biologycal Qxygen Demand (BOD5), nitrogen total, phosphat total, and Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD). The research was conducted from January to May 2010 at fishery basic Laboratory Faculty of agriculture, Sriwijaya University, Indralaya. The research was arranged according to completely randomized design with 3 treatments and 3 replications. The treatments consisted of P1 (fertilizer), P2 (latex waste 100%), and P3 (Iiquid tofu waste 100%) for C. pyrenoidosa cultivation medium. The result of this current research indicated that kontrol with fertilizer (Pl) gave the highest C. pyrenoidosa maximum density (1,64 g.F1) and growth rate (6,02 x 10 g.l .days ). Meanwhile liquid tofu waste 100% (P3) gave the best on spesific growth rate (9,24 x lO^.days'1), yield of ammonia substrat (659,52 g.l'Vg.l'1) and carbondioxide substrat (48,40 g.rVg.l"1”), decreasing rate of ammonia substrat (1,54 x g.l l.days‘l) and carbondioxide substrat (1,37 x 10'3 g.l"1 .days'1), decreasing of BOD5 (89,20%) and decreasing of COD (52,48%).
