Abstract

This study aims to describe the form of lexical meaning relations in Hololive Indonesia VTuber (Virtual YouTuber) live broadcast videos in the form of synonyms, antonyms, hyponyms, and their implications for Indonesian language learning. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. This research data is in the form of lexical meaning contained in the dialog of the main speaker (Virtual Yoububer) and the audience through live chat. The data source of this research comes from Hololive Indonesia YouTube live broadcast videos uploaded on its YouTube channel named Ayunda Risu Ch. hololive-ID on September 28, 2023 and Kobo Kanaeru Kobo Kanaeru Ch. hololive-ID on October 24, 2023. This research uses listening and note-taking techniques. Based on the analysis, 106 forms of lexical meaning were found, including 27 synonyms, 52 antonyms, and 27 hyponyms. The implication of this research shows that the lexical meaning in the Hololive Indonesia Virtual Youtuber live broadcast video can be an effective learning material in mastering Indonesian vocabulary and learning popular scientific article text sub-material, thus helping students understand, appreciate, and assemble popular scientific article text independently.
