Abstract

The Objective of this research was to evaluate the response of the growth and yield of some acid restrain soybean varieties to P fertilizing. The research was conducted in the experimental garden of Agriculture Faculty, University of Sriwijaya, Indralaya from May to August 2004 by utilizing Randomized Block Disign (RBD), consisted of two factors and three replications. First factor was soybean variety, consisted of three varieties namely VI (Wilis variety), V2 (Nanti variety), V3 (Tanggamus variety). Second factor was the level of YUYUN NOVITA. P-Fertilizing, that were Po (Without P-fertilizing), P1 (25 Kg Ha- i SP-36), P2 (50 Kg Ha- i SP-36), P3 (75 Kg Ha- l4 SP-36). The result generally showed that the difference of varieties was affecting to flowering-age, harvestinf time, the height of 100 seed, and the height of seeds per plot. P-fertilizing with the dosage of 0 Kg Ha"1 SP-36 to 75 Kg Ha"1 SP-36 were not giving effect to the growth or the yield of three soybean varieties. It caould be summarized that Willis and Tanggamus varieties were tended to have higher yields if cultivated in acid-dried land, whereas P-fertilizing was not significant effect to the growth and yield of some soybean varieties
