Abstract

This research was conducted on February 2004 until March 2004 in Green house of Agriculture Faculty Sriwijaya University Indralaya. The objective of this research was to find out the growth of caisim that influenced by duration of inundation and level of inundation. The experimental design used in this research was Randomized Completely Design with two factors consisting of duration of inundation and level of inundation, replicated in 3 times and so there were 27 units of treatments. The durations of inundation are 5 minutes, 10 minutes and 15 minutes, while the levels of inundation are 6 cm, 9 cm and 12 cm. The result of this research showed that the duration of inundation in 20 minutes and the level of inundation at 12 cm gave the best growth of caisim.
