Abstract
This research discusses the analysis of the socio-economic conditions of Palembang's 26 Ilir traders after the Covid-19 pandemic. The aim of this research is to determine the socio-economic conditions of Palembang's 26 ilir traders after the Covid-19 pandemic and to analyze the socio-economic conditions of Palembang's 26 ilir traders after the Covid-19 pandemic. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of observation, interviews and documentation. The research results found that the social conditions of traders in sub-district 26 Ilir Palembang were seen from interaction, education and health after the Covid-19 pandemic, where many traders showed good cooperation to achieve common goals that were mutually beneficial to both parties. Meanwhile, their children's education is hampered by payment, traders find it quite difficult to pay for their children's education costs because their income has decreased after Covid-19. Meanwhile, the economic condition of the traders in the 26 Ilir sub-district of Palembang, in this case, can be seen from the income and fulfillment of the living needs of the 26 Ilir traders, where Covid-19 has had a major impact on the economy and the traders' income. They stated that after the Covid-19 pandemic occurred, the number of traders' consumers had decreased, both non-permanent and permanent buyers. This also affected the income of traders in Subdistrict 26 Ilir, Palembang city, which also experienced a decline. Traders' income before the pandemic and after the Covid- 19 pandemic decreased drastically. Meanwhile, for the living needs of traders, there are those who remain good and do not experience shortages and there are also those who feel they experience shortages after Covid-19. However, after the pandemic, traders' living needs have not decreased significantly and their living needs remain good and smooth, they can still save even a little.
